United Way HPE raises record amount with 2025 campaign

By Paul Martin Feb 19, 2026 | 8:52 AM

The United Way Hastings Prince Edward has raised a record amount with their fall fundraising campaign.

They held a special event Thursday morning to officially release the 2025 total, which was $2,256,387.

That was slightly more than 2024’s record-setting total of just over 2.25 million.

In September, United Way HPE announced the first step in a bold new three-year challenge.

The 2025 target was announced as $2.4 million, with the goal of building toward $3 million annually by 2028.

The money raised supports dozens of programs with local non-profit, community agencies.
