It was solid performance in Pair Figure Skating for the duo of Lia Pereira & Trennt Michaud at the Winter Olympics.

They wrapped up their competition with a score of 125.06 in the free skate on Monday.

That gave them a combined total of 199.66, which had them 8th in a very talented and packed field of competitors.

They were third after the short program earlier in the weekend, after posting an impressive score of 74.60.

Their performance in the short program was moving. The “Say You Love Me” routine included a triple twist, side-by-side triple toe jumps and a throw triple loop that earned them a personal best in the event (74.60).

Michaud was born in Belleville, and then trained in Brighton and Trenton before taking the skating world by storm.
