Fill local plates with donated food items at a event Saturday.
OPP Auxiliary members and members of several communities across Quinte and area will be collecting non-perishable items and essential goods to support local food banks.
Every donation helps fight food insecurity in the region.
Local participating locations are as follows.
Quinte West – Metro at 53 Quinte St, Trenton (11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.)
Quinte West – Frankford Foodland at 36 Mill St, Frankford (11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.)
Central Hastings – Madoc Foodland at 40 Elgin St, Madoc
Northumberland – Sobeys at 14 Main St, Brighton
Northumberland – Valu-Mart at 52 Bridge St N, Hastings
Northumberland – Sharpe’s Food Market at 85 Front St N, Campbellford
Northumberland – Fisher’s Nofrills at 15 Canrobert St S, Campbellford
Lennox & Addington – Walmart (Napanee) at 89 Jim Kimmett Blvd, Napanee
