Quinte West man charged with impaired driving in Belleville

Belleville Police charged a Quinte West man with impaired driving early Friday morning.

On October 2, 2026, at 1:19 a.m., Belleville Police responded to North Front Street regarding a report of a suspected impaired driver.

Officers located a suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.

As a result of the investigation, Timothy Jones, 60-year-old Quinte West man, was arrested and charged with:

· Operation while impaired – alcohol

· Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration over 80 mg.

He was released on an Undertaking with a court date in November.
