A big jump in construction value highlighted Belleville’s latest Building Report, released on Friday.
The move from almost $11 million in September of last year to $51.4 million last month was driven by several residential permits being handed out, with a total of 43 permits issued.
The biggest permit issued in September was for almost $31 million for the Avonlough Road Sewage Pumping Station.
Last month’s total raises the overall construction value through the first nine months of this year to $149.5 million, up from $138 million from the same time period last year.
