Belleville Police have charged a city man with assault after a teen was reportedly struck during a domestic incident.
On Tuesday, Belleville Police investigated a report of a family dispute that had occurred earlier in the week.
It was reported that a male and a youth were involved in a dispute outside their residence, during which the male struck his 14-year-old stepchild.
On September 9, 2026, as a result of the investigation, a 63-year-old Belleville man was located, arrested and charged with:
