Another inmate death has been reported at Millhaven Institution.
Correctional Service of Canada officials say Emmanuel Calaguas died while in custody at the maximum-security facility near Kingston on Friday.
At the time of death, the inmate was 27 years old and had been serving a life sentence since November 4, 2024.
The inmate’s next of kin have been notified.
As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the CSC will review the circumstances.
