An arrest has been made in a spring incident which involved damage to property in Brighton.
Police received a report on April 4 that a residential trailer, a storage shed, items within those structures, and a vehicle had been damaged at a property on County Road 64.
The damage is believed to have occurred the previous day.
Following an investigation, police identified and sought an individual in relation to the incident. On August 31, 2026, officers took the person into custody.
Travis Knapman, 26, from Brighton, has been charged with:
– Mischief over $5,000 – two counts
The accused was held to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg.
