The Children’s Safety Village of Belleville is inviting the community to bid on incredible prizes while supporting free, hands-on safety education that empowers children, youth, families, and older adults across Eastern Ontario.
For more than 22 years, the Children’s Safety Village has been helping build safer communities by providing interactive, real-life safety education at no cost to participants.
As the only Safety Village serving Eastern Ontario, the organization welcomes schools, community groups, and families from Cobourg to Kingston to experience immersive programs that teach practical, life-saving skills. From Street Safety and Bike Safety to Fire Safety, Home Safety, Water Safety, Emergency Preparedness, Driving Under the Influence Awareness for youth, and Financial Fraud & Digital Literacy for Older Adults, every program is designed to give participants the confidence and knowledge to make safe decisions throughout their lives.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, sponsors, volunteers, grant funders, and community partners, these educational experiences remain free and accessible, ensuring that financial or geographic barriers never prevent someone from learning skills that could one day save a life.
To help continue this important work, the Children’s Safety Village has launched its first-ever Online Auction, running from Monday, August 3 through Monday, August 24, 2026.
The auction features an outstanding collection of generously donated items from local businesses and organizations, including family experiences, dining certificates, hotel stays, theatre tickets, home improvement packages, Costco gift cards, golf packages, gift baskets, and much more.

Every dollar raised through the auction will directly support the Children’s Safety Village’s educational programming, ensuring children, youth, families, and older adults continue to receive engaging, hands-on safety education that prevents injuries, reduces casualties, and builds stronger communities.
