Belleville and Trenton residents will be receiving their mail again from Canada Post Friday.
Thursday, Canada Post suspended delivery service to the region under a red alert due to the presence of heavy smoke in the region.
This was done in order to protect delivery agents from these poor conditions.
Early Friday afternoon, a media advisory noted several communities will be receiving mail and parcels again with the downgrade of an air quality warning from orange to yellow by Environment Canada.
Another advisory will be issued if air quality worsens again, which is being forecasted for Friday night.
