Gold, Silver and Bronze for Lynx Athletes at U16-U18 Provincials Championships in Sudbury

Continued success is being felt by Quinte Legion Lynx Track and Field Athletes.

Three local athletes brought home medals from the recent Ontario U16/U18 Legion Provincial Championship in Sudbury.

Ella Bolton won Gold in U16 pole vault and Charlee Sage captured two medals, a Silver in U18 women’s pole vault, and a Bronze in 100m hurdles.

Anabelle Aucoin-Satri was 4th in U18 women’s long jump, triple jump and pole vault.

Trent Bucknell placed 4th in U18 men’s pole vault and Kem Kemka 4th was in discus, and 5th shot put in U18 men’s to round out the Lynx top performances at Laurentian University Stadium.

Meanwhile in Windsor two Lynx athletes made top 8 at Ontario U20 Provincial Championships.

Isla Bibby was 5th in U20 women’s pole vault and Griffin Coffey placed 8th in U20 men’s.
