A small coffee shop business in Quinte West is saying goodbye after 15 years of memories.
The Grind & Vine in downtown Trenton is closing its doors August 31 after 15 years.
In a video posted on the business’ Facebook page Wednesday, owner Taylor Russett stated this is the ‘sunsetting of a 15-year legacy’ of coffee and community in downtown Trenton.
“I was just 20 years old when I took the leap and bought this business,” he stated.
“This place gave me wings and taught me a lot of valuable lessons as a young entrepreneur.
Russett reflected on the hard times of the COVID-19 pandemic and supply chain issues, but also expressed gratitude for all the support given over the years.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to stop by the establishment on August 28 for a Grind and Vine Wine Down to raise a glass, share your favourite memories and say goodbye.
