The Ontario Provincial Police is inviting individuals interested in a rewarding career in policing to attend a series of recruitment events in Quinte West this coming week.
Hosted by the OPP Uniform Recruitment Unit, the events will provide prospective applicants with opportunities to meet recruiters, connect with local OPP Recruitment Ambassadors, learn about the hiring process, and gain valuable insight into what it takes to become an OPP Provincial Constable.
Whether participants are exploring policing as a future career, preparing to apply, or looking to improve their readiness for the recruitment process, these sessions are designed to provide helpful information, practical advice, and answers to questions about joining one of Canada’s largest deployed police services.

OPP Shuttle Run Preparation Event

The OPP Shuttle Run Event is focused on supporting prospective candidates with the shuttle run component of the OPP hiring process. Participants will have the opportunity to complete the shuttle run and receive guidance on preparing for the physical requirements of a policing career. Those who successfully achieve Level 7 or higher will receive a certificate recognizing their fitness level and prequalifying them for this component of the recruitment process.
Individuals interested in attending any of the events are encouraged to register early, as space is limited.
