Watermain repairs close road in Napanee

A busy road in Napanee was closed for several hours on Sunday for repair work.

The municipality posted the following notice around 1:40 on Sunday afternoon.

NOTICE – Church Street is temporarily closed to traffic from Camden Road to Barrett Boulevard, effective immediately on Sunday, June 14, due to an ongoing watermain repair.

Residents are asked to please avoid the area while crews complete the repair.

They reopened the road shortly before 5:30 pm.
