The 7th annual Fashion for Foundation raised $20,261.84 for a new ophthalmology stretcher at Trenton Memorial Hospital.
Held on May 7 at the Batawa Community Centre, Fashion for Foundation was led by long-time community supporter Sharon Urquhart.
The event brought together guests, local shops, volunteers, and sponsors for an evening of fashion, music, and fundraising.
“We are grateful to Sharon, the volunteers, sponsors, local shops, and everyone who came to this year’s event,” said Lindsay Butcher-Dodds, Executive Director of the Trenton Memorial
Hospital Foundation.
“Their support will help bring needed equipment to our hospital and support better care for patients who need eye procedures.”
Guests saw fashions from local retailers and enjoyed live music by Heartlight Band, music from DJ Leo Phillips, and a performance by the Cold Creek Cloggers.
Local retailers in the show included TMH Gift Shop, Vivacious Clothing & Day Spa, The Shoe Store, Philosophy Boutique, Lafferty’s Menswear, iDesigns Optical, and Revamped with Rustic Routes.
The Foundation thanks everyone who helped make the event possible. Community support helps fund equipment that Trenton Memorial Hospital needs to care for local patients.
