A local student has achieved top honours at the Ontario Provincial Public Speaking Championships.

Lennox Cybulski-Hollett a student from Frankford Public Scool in the Quinte region, was named Provincial Champion after an impressive series of first-place finishes at competitions held at the Frankford, Colborne, Marmora, Norwood, and Napanee legion branches.

The win marks a significant milestone in Lennox’s public speaking journey. Last year, she placed as second runner-up at the provincial competition in Sudbury, making this year’s victory a remarkable accomplishment.

Throughout the competition season, Lennox demonstrated confidence, poise, and a strong ability to connect with her audience—qualities that helped her stand out among competitors from across Ontario.

Beyond her success on stage, Lennox has also built meaningful friendships and shown great sportsmanship throughout the process.

Her family expressed immense pride in her achievement, noting the dedication, perseverance, and courage it took to reach this level.

“Watching her grow, overcome challenges, and continue to believe in herself has been incredible,” they shared. “We couldn’t be more proud.”
