Several charges laid in PEC domestic dispute

One person has been charged in a domestic incident reportedly involving several counts of assault in Prince Edward County.

Members of the Prince Edward County OPP invesitgated a report of intimate partner violence Thursday night and laid several charges against an individual, including;

·        Assault – three counts

·        Forcible Confinement

·        Assault Cause Bodily Harm – two counts

·        Sexual Assault

·        Uttering threats

The name of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim. The accused was held pending a bail hearing.
