Two officers spent some time connecting with high school students in Bancroft on Monday.
A/Staff Sergeant Trevor Pitts and Cst. Kyle Wilson participated as volunteer “coaches,” engaging students in small-group career conversations and sharing insights into policing careers, pathways, and real-world experiences.
They supported meaningful, informal discussions by answering questions, offering career advice, and helping students better understand the skills and training involved in law enforcement.
Their presence helped connect local students with practical career knowledge and positive community role models.
Officials say it was a very positive event and a great day overall connecting with approximately 120 Grade 9 and 10 students from North Hastings High School.
