Month-long outbreak over at HJ McFarland Home

A month-long respiratory outbreak is over at H.J. McFarland Memorial Home.

The outbreak began on February 27 and was announced as having concluded on Wednesday by officials at the Prince Edward County long-term care.

The home will return to normal operations, but mask wearing, while voluntary, is strongly encouraged by the home to ensure the health and safety of residents, visitors, and staff.
