Huskies set to dive into harsh waters against Whalers

By Brock Ormond Apr 18, 2026 | 7:00 AM
The Schmaltz Cup Semifinal schedule is set for the Frankford Huskies, as they dive into harsh waters against one of the PJHL’s best.
Frankford will meet the Fergus Whalers in the PJHL’s final four starting Sunday at the Centre Wellington Community Complex in Fergus, near Guelph.
The Huskies are 16-3 through four rounds of the postseason after sweeping Trent Hills and Napanee, beating Lakefield in five games in the East Division Final, and ousting Uxbridge in six in the East Conference Final.
After winning the Pollock Division with a 34-7-1 record and 69 points, the Whalers earned a bye into the second round, where they swept away the Kincardine Bulldogs.
Following that, they eliminated the defending Schmaltz Cup Champion Hanover Barons in five in the Pollock Division Final, then defeated the Stayner Siskins in four straight to win the North Conference.
