Drop off hazardous waste materials this Saturday

Help keep the community of Tyendinaga Township safe and clean by disposing of your hazardous materials at an event this Saturday.

Visitors can drop off their hazardous materials to be safely disposed of at the Hazardous Waste Depot at 1862 Shannonville Road.

Accepted Items Include:
• Paints, thinners, glues & cements
• Oils, fuels & transmission fluids
• Household cleaners (ammonia & drain cleaners)
• Batteries & butane lighters
• Electronics (monitors, keyboards, hard drives & more)
• Propane tanks
• Fluorescent tubes & medical sharps

Fertilizers and chlorine bleach

❌ Not Accepted:
• Asbestos
• PCB-containing waste

The event goes from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1862 Shannonville Road.
