Members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one person after an intimate partner violence investigation.
On Thursday April 23, 2026, at approximately 10:00 P.M., Prince Edward OPP responded to a domestic dispute. Officers completed their investigation and one individual was charged with:
· Assault with a weapon
The name of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim. The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton at a later date.
