A local man has been charged following a domestic argument that led to property damage on Wednesday.

Before 7:30 a.m., Belleville Police stated it received a report about a dispute at an east end residence that escalated, resulting in a man reportedly punching a hole in a wall.

As a result of investigation, a 47-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with mischief under $5000 and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

He was released on an Undertaking with a scheduled court date in May.
