If you are a fisher or angler in the community or just want to pitch in any way you can to support local healthcare, you have an opportunity to cast your line.
The Competitive Sport Fishing League has launched an online 50/50 raffle as part of the new Quinte Walleye Festival, set for May 2–3 this year on the Bay of Quinte.
The raffle gives people a chance to win cash while supporting care at Trenton Memorial Hospital.
The current jackpot is $2,360, with the winner receiving half. Funds will help buy priority equipment and support Emergency Department expansion through the EMERGE Stronger Campaign.
Ticket options start at 5 for $10, with bundle pricing up to 250 for $100. The jackpot continues to grow as tickets are sold.
The winning ticket will be drawn following the festival on May 3, 2026, at 4pm.
