Broken window leads to mischief charge in Belleville

Belleville Police have charged a city man with mischief after an incident involving a broken window over the weekend.

On April 25th at 5:06pm, Belleville Police responded to a business on Dundas Street East regarding a report of mischief. It was reported that a male had damaged the business by throwing a rock through a glass window.

As a result of police investigation, a 34-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address was located, arrested and charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing:

· Mischief under $5000

· Fail to comply with probation order

His name was not released.
