Belleville man arrested following incident involving weapons

Belleville Police have arrested a city man following an incident over the weekend involving multiple weapons.

On April 18th (Saturday) at 1:36pm, Belleville Police responded to the area of Bell Boulevard following a report that a male had displayed a concealed weapon to employees at a business.

Officers located the male and upon further investigation, seized some bear spray and knives.

As a result of investigation, a 41-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with:

· Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose X2

· Fail to comply with probation order X4

He was held for a bail hearing. His name was not released.
