Belleville man arrested following attack with frying pan

A Belleville man was arrested following a reported attack where the weapon was a frying pan.

On April 19th (Sunday) at approximately 6:00pm, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s east end regarding a roommate dispute.

It was reported that one of the roommates was causing issues within the residence and had struck the other roommate with a frying pan.

As a result of investigation, David Richens, 46-year-old Belleville man, was arrested and charged with:

· Assault

· Fail to comply with a probation order

He was released on an Undertaking with a scheduled court date in July.
