The Ontario Junior Hockey League has once again recognized a player on a Quinte-area team for one of their 2025-26 awards.
Taeo Artichuk of the Trenton Golden Hawks was named the OJHL MVP for this season, as chosen by league general managers.
The 20-year-old Hawks forward was the most dominant forward in the Ontario Junior Hockey League in 2025-26, capturing the league Top Scorer award with 108 points (37 goals, 71 assists) in 55 games, setting a Hawks single-season franchise record.
The 21-year-old from Ajax, Ont. led all OJHL skaters in both points and assists, finishing nearly two full goals and 18 points clear of the second-place finisher in the scoring race.
Artichuk was also named to the OJHL First All-Star Team for the 2025-26 season.
He will be recognized alongside the OJHL’s other 2025-26 award winners during the league’s year-end awards presentations.
