Local man charged in sexual exploitation case

A Belleville man is in police custody following an investigation into a child exploitation case.

Belleville Police say a 30-year-old male was charged following an investigation conducted by its Internet Child Exploitation Unit on Friday.

The charges include;

· Luring a person under 18 years of age

· Making child sexual abuse and exploitation material

· Exposure to a person under 16 years of age

The male was held for a bail hearing.

No name was released in order to protect the victim’s identity.
