The Children’s Foundation’s Guardian Angel Gala is expected to march on without its award recipient this year.
A statement from Foundation Board of Directors Chair Jack Miller noted Sam Brady has chosen to step back from being recognized as this year’s Guardian Angel honoree due to a personal situation.
The Board of Directors has confirmed that “A Night in Éire” Gala on Saturday, March 7 will proceed as planned.
The focus of the evening remains on the children and youth TCF serves, Miller stated.
“Our Annual Gala is a vital fundraiser that supports programs helping young people across Hastings, Northumberland, and Prince Edward Counties explore, learn, play, and thrive,” he stated.
“We are grateful for the continued support of our community and remain steadfast in our commitment to our mission.”
