Loyalist College is expanding its summer arts programming for a third year, with more hands-on creative workshops for adults and new kids creative camps for young artists. Programs will run across the Bay of Quinte region, offering accessible opportunities for people of all ages to explore their creativity.
Adults can choose from short, immersive workshops in painting, drawing, pottery, culinary arts, photography and fibre arts. Sessions are led by practicing artists and industry professionals and are designed for both beginners and experienced makers.
Courses are available in Belleville, Port Hope, Bancroft and Prince Edward County.
New this year, kids creative camps offer structured, age-appropriate experiences led by professional artist educators. Children will have the opportunity to explore visual arts through guided, hands-on activities that build foundational skills, confidence and curiosity.
The expanded summer lineup builds on Loyalist College’s commitment to accessible, community-based learning opportunities across the region.
“Creative learning invites people to slow down, try something new and engage in a different way,” says Sandra Dupret, Senior Vice-President, Students, at Loyalist College. “Whether it’s an adult returning to a creative practice or a child discovering it for the first time, these experiences help build confidence, curiosity and a sense of connection.”
The summer programs are part of Loyalist College’s year-round arts offerings, which provide ongoing opportunities for skill development and creative exploration in communities across the Bay of Quinte region.
