Failure to abide by probation orders leads to arrest

A woman has been charged with multiple counts of failing to comply with probation after an incident Sunday evening.

Around 7:05 p.m., Belleville Police responded to an address in the city’s east end regarding a report of a female that had left the residence alone, violating conditions that prohibited her from leaving alone.

Officers located the female a short distance away and escorted her back to the residence.

Upon her return, she hit a staff member in the face and also made an attempt to pull the fire alarm.As a result, a 26-year-old Belleville woman, was arrested and charged with three counts of failure to comply with a release order and four counts of failing to comply with a probation order

She was held for a bail hearing.
