The East Conference regular season title belongs to the Trenton Golden Hawks.

Colton Drillen-Roach posted his second shutout as a Hawk in a 4-0 victory over the Cobourg Cougars on Monday, giving Trenton 88 points and the conference crown for the third year in a row.

Logan Bennett buried a pass from affiliated player Jax Martin to start the scoring more than six minutes into the first for his fifth of the season.

Fellow AP Declan Torrence chipped in with the second assist.

Isaiah Shantz notched his 19th of the season from Wyatt Gregory and Lucas Digiantommaso in the second, before scoring his 20th in the third as part of back-to-back shorthanded goals with Joey Brehmer to widen the margin.

Trenton improves to 43-9-0-2 on the year and will finish off its regular season with games Thursday in King and Friday at home versus Aurora.
