Woman arrested on outstanding warrant in Belleville

Belleville Police arrested a woman on an outstanding warrant when the responded to a disturbance in the east end on Thursday.

On January 15th at 6:54pm, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s east end regarding unwanted parties.

The property owner requested police assistance to have the individuals removed.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with individuals inside the residence and identified a female who was known to have an outstanding Belleville Police Service arrest warrant for failing to comply with a probation order.

As a result, Deanna Vanalstine, 31-year-old Belleville woman, was arrested on the strength of the warrant.

She was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in March.
