By Hailey MacDonald Dec 24, 2025 | 5:09 PM

Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement for the Bay of Quinte on Boxing Day (Friday, Dec 26).

Significant snowfall is possible with local snowfall amounts of up to 10cm.

The snow is expected to begin Friday afternoon and run into Friday evening.

There is still uncertainty regarding the track of the low pressure system, which may impact the eastern edge of the significant snowfall regions. Updates will be provided when available.

Travel may be difficult due to accumulating snow. Motorists should exercise caution and adjust plans accordingly.
