By Paul Martin Dec 11, 2025 | 6:07 AM

It’s another day to make last-minute arrangements for parents in many parts of the Quinte Region.

Due to snow covered conditions on many secondary & side roads, Tri-Board Transportation has cancelled all school buses in North Hastings, Centre Hastings, North Lennox & Addington, Central Lennox & Addington, North & Central Frontenac and South Frontenac weather zones today (Thursday).

Schools will remain open however any students driven to school by parents/guardians will need to be picked up at the end of the day. For a complete list of bus cancellations and delays visit: triboard.mybusplanner.ca/Alerts.

School buses are also cancelled in Northumberland.  Due to storm aftermath and reported slippery/icy road conditions all busing and school transportation is cancelled Thursday for all of the STSCO jurisdiction.   STSCO busing is cancelled for those KPR, PVNC, and MonAvenir schools served by STSCO.
