Belleville man charged following violent domestic

A Belleville man was arrested following an incident involving domestic violence on Wednesday morning.

At 12:37am, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s east end regarding a domestic dispute. It was reported that a male had pushed a female to the ground and was threatened with further bodily harm.

As a result of investigation, a 29-year-old Belleville man was charged with:

· Assault

· Uttering threats

· Failure to comply with an undertaking

He was released with a court date in February.
