Radiothon rakes in $52,000-plus for local kids

The Kids Can’t Wait Radiothon was a smashing success on Wednesday.

Donations are sitting at more than $52,000 following the 12-hour event and The Children’s Foundation says that total does not include updated online auction or other event totals.

A full press release will be coming in the next couple of the days with the final total.

TCF officials thank all participating radio stations and residents for their generosity, saying more children will have the chance to explore, learn, and thrive thanks to their support.
