By Hailey MacDonald Oct 27, 2025 | 9:35 AM

On October 25th (Saturday) at 11:26 am, Belleville police responded to a residence in the city’s east end regarding a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a female who reported that she and her partner had been in a verbal argument earlier in the day, which escalated when the male pushed her to the floor. The male had left the residence afterwards.

On October 26th (Sunday) at 4:35am, Belleville Police responded to the same address regarding a disturbance. It was reported a male was repeatedly knocking on the door and yelling and was described as the same individual from the earlier incident.

As a result, a 40-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with:

· Assault

· Fail to comply with probation order X2

He was held for a bail hearing.
