Labour Day service changes in Belleville

The City of Belleville is letting residents know about service changes with the long weekend fast approaching.

The list of changes is as follows;

City Hall – Closed Sept. 1.

· Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre – Customer service desk closed and no programs running Aug. 30 to Sept. 1. Building closed Sept. 1.

· Kinsmen Outdoor Community Pool – Open Aug. 30 to Sept. 1 (last day of the season). Pre-registration is required. Learn more: QSWC.ca

· Transit – Regular transit and mobility transit will NOT run on Sept. 1.

· Leaf & Yard Waste Depot – Closed Sept. 1.

· Thurlow Landfill – No change to regular public hours.

· Hazardous and Electronic Waste Depot – No change to regular public hours.

· Glanmore National Historic Site – Closed Sept. 1. Fall hours begin Tuesday, Sept. 2 – Tuesday to Friday from noon to 4 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.

· Belleville Public Library – Closed Sept. 1.

· Community Archives – Closed Sept. 1.

There will be no changes to curbside garbage, green bin or bulky items collection.
