New McDonald’s opens in Belleville

By Kay Joly Jul 28, 2025 | 4:12 PM

The new owner has added another set of Golden Arches to the Friendly City.

Todd Shea was all smiles on Friday as the new McDonald’s opened in Belleville.

The city’s fourth location is on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road just north of Bell Blvd.

Shea took over the McDonald’s in Belleville and Madoc (including the new build) from Bob Doyle, who announced his retirement in the spring.

He already owned several locations in eastern Ontario including Napanee, Kingston and Gananoque.
