Hastings County has joined the growing group of organizations and government institutions in paying respects to the victims of the Tumbler Ridge shooting in British Columbia.

At the request of the Prime Minister and direction from Warden Bob Mullin, flags at all of County locations are being lowered to half-mast, to recognize the horrific acts of violence out west.

Hastings County stated it stands with all British Columbians and the loved ones of the victims as they confront this horrible tragedy.
