Arthur Kaliyev can truly call himself a ‘big shot’ after winning part of the AHL Skills Competition last night in Rockford, Illinois.
The Belleville Senators forward clocked a blast at 104 miles per hour to win the CCM Hardest Shot title, helping the Eastern Conference win the overall competition.
The 24-year-old leads the AHL in goals going into the league’s all-star break with 29 in 47 games.
The AHL All-Star Challenge goes Wednesday night at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
