Kingston Police seeking suspect in counterfeit cash case

The Kingston Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual who used counterfeit currency at a local business in November of 2025.

Over the course of a one-month period, the suspect attended a local business in the area of Bath Road and Portsmouth Avenue. On at least three separate occasions the suspect paid for merchandise using counterfeit currency.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, approximately 50-60 years of age with a slim build. At the time of the incidents the suspect was wearing dark square rimmed eyeglasses and a black toque with writing on the front.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identity is asked to contact the Kingston Police at 613-549-4660 ext. 0.
