School buses cancelled in Quinte for Thursday

Snowfall overnight and slick roads on Thursday morning are leading to another day of last-minute arrangements for parents in Quinte.

Tri-Board Transportation has cancelled all school buses for Thursday in Hastings, Prince Edward County, Lennox and Addington and Kingston.

NOTICE – Due to snow received overnight and ongoing snow conditions on most secondary & side roads, all school bus and taxi transportation is cancelled in the Tri-Board Student Transportation Services service area today.

Schools will remain open however any students driven to school by parents/guardians will need to be picked up at the end of the day.

STSCO has cancelled all school buses today in Northumberland, as well.

NOTICE FROM STSCO – Please be advised that, due to poor road conditions transportation is cancelled in Northumberland County today, schools remain open. Transportation is operating in Peterborough City and County and the Municipality of Clarington, please monitor the STSCO website for individual delays or cancellations.

Mohawk Bus Lines have cancelled their buses for the day.
