Three people face charges after the discovery of drugs in Belleville on Tuesday.

The OPP East Region Community Street Crime Unit, with assistance from the Belleville Police Service, began an investigation in late 2025 into drug trafficking in the Deseronto, Shannonville and Belleville area.

Tuesday, officers and members of the Belleville Police Tactical Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Moira Street East where three people were arrested.

Around 11.5 grams of suspected cocaine, as well nearly $700 in cash and items typically associated with drug trafficking were seized.

Christopher Hill, 41, Tyler Hill, 36, and Vanessa Meesters, 38, all from Belleville, have each been charged with drug trafficking.

Christopher Hill has also been charged with possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

All of the accused individuals were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in Belleville Court on March 16, 2026.
