By Brock Ormond Jan 20, 2026 | 1:19 PM

A sweet opportunity to provide support for a local organization that cares for people at the end of life is presenting itself to the Quinte community these next few weeks.

Hospice Quinte’s Valentines Day themed treat boxes are now available for purchase in support of Hospice Quinte. The Loved Ones Boxes are a sweet way to celebrate Valentine’s Day while supporting our community.

This initiative is open to everyone – whether you’re remembering a loved one, sharing the love with those around you or simply want to indulge in some sweet treats while helping Hospice Quinte continue its mission of compassionate care.

Donations will directly support programs and services that provide end-of-life care to individuals and families in our community, ensuring that no one faces life’s final journey alone.

To purchase a Loved One’s box for a donation of $35 until January 25 or $40 after that through February 9 or while supplies last. You’ll receive an assortment of 12 delicious items, including homemade treats made with love by our dedicated kitchen volunteers.

The box also features Lemon Crinkle Cookies, Whipped Shortbread, Raspberry Nanaimo Bar, Rice Krispie Date Balls, and more.

The number of Loved Ones Boxes are limited, so order your box early if you want to make sure you get one. To place your order and learn more about this heartfelt initiative, please visit the Hospice Quinte website.
