Monday’s heavy dose of winter weather was also a record-setting one in Quinte.

Measurements taken at CFB Trenton show that a total of 15.1 cm of snow fell on Monday.

That easily beat the old record of 11.4 cm of snow that fell on January 19th of 1948 (78 years ago).

The Quinte Region is still digging out from yesterday’s record snowfall, but all weather advisories were lifted by 5 am on Tuesday.
