Starboard Cares supports Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward – Hastings

By Paul Martin Jan 16, 2026 | 10:52 AM

The organization behind InQuinte.ca is stepping up to provide support for a key affordable housing project in Belleville.

This week, Starboard Cares presented a check to Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward – Hastings for $500.

The money will go towards the $8.3 million fundraising campaign for the new Habitat Village project in Belleville at the site of the former Belleville Police Headquarters on Dundas Street East.

Demolition of the building will be wrapped up by months’ end, with construction on the 66-unit project to be completed by the end of June 2028.

CEO of Habitat for Humanity PEH Hazzem Koudsi says the donation is another great sign of support from Starboard Cares.

He says it’s vital to maintain momentum for the project.

Starboard Cares is the philanthropic arm of Starboard Communications, which operates Hits 95.5, Cool 100 and InQuinte.ca.
