Roads are treacherous in many areas as the Quinte Region digs out from another heavy dose of winter weather.
Environment Canada has issued a Snowfall Warning for the area, with 15 to 25 cm expected to fall.
The heavy snowfall, along with local blowing snow will reduce visibility for drivers.
There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic, so drivers are being to prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions and allow extra time for travel.
Plows are out in force, but many secondary roads are still snow-covered, and even primary roads may not be in good condition in some areas (as of 5 am).
